Terms of service
Last updated October 5, 2026
By using Narrately you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
The service
Narrately turns books you upload into narrated audio with the text alongside. The administrator can pause or end access at any time.
Your content
- Only upload books you own or have the right to use. You're responsible for the files you upload, and you keep whatever rights you have in them.
- Your books are private to your account. You give Narrately permission to store and process them only to provide the service: extracting text, generating narration and syncing your library.
- Don't upload unlawful content, or try to share narration of copyrighted books with others.
Fair use
Narration costs money to generate, so each reader has a monthly narration allowance set by the administrator. Replaying narration you've already generated doesn't count toward it. Don't try to get around allowances or overload the service.
No guarantees
Narrately is provided “as is”. Narration is machine-generated and may contain mistakes, and chapter detection may not be perfect for every file. We aim to keep the service available but can't promise it will always be, and we may change or discontinue features.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Narrately isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of content. Keep your own copies of files you upload.
Privacy
How we handle your data is described in the privacy policy.
